Concentrate on either of the two meeting points of one’s breath – internal or external. The yogi will experience the birth of perfect understanding.
Verse 64
How to do this technique
Being aware of the breath is a very direct way to still the mind. That is why there are so many breath techniques. Most of them are subtle variations of each other, to suit people of different temperaments. This is a sitting meditation that is to be done with eyes closed. In this practice, focus on the breath, and then either of the meeting points of the two breaths. The inbreath with the outbreath or the outbreath with the inbreath. Instead of a gap between two breaths, some people may prefer to think of it as a junction or meeting point between two breaths. The junction between two breaths is a very subtle point. It requires increased awareness. This increased awareness of the breath and the junction point, stills the mind. Then, one is liberated.
